In order to further implement the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Work of the Special Committee of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee for the Democratic Progression of the People's Republic of China, and do a good job of the work of the Special Committee in 2023, the China Association for Promoting Democracy held the first plenary (expanded) meeting of the ninth session in the afternoon of March 12. Zhang Xianyou, the chairman of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Chen Xibin, director of the Liaison Committee, made a video speech, and Zhang Zhongkai, deputy director, presided over the meeting.
Yuan Dezhu and Li Jing, deputy chairmen of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, Zhang Jingdong, deputy secretary-general of the Provincial Committee for Democratic Progress and head of the Department of Political Affairs, Gui Yuzhou, deputy secretary-general and head of the Department of Organization, Wang Dongxu, chairman of the Provincial Enterprise Federation, and Fu Yongjun, president of the Heilongjiang Democratic Progressive Kaiming Painting Academy, were invited to attend the meeting.
More than 20 deputy directors and members of the Special Committee attended the meeting.
The meeting conveyed the spirit of the 2023 key research project deployment meeting of the Provincial Committee for Democratic Progress and the special committee director meeting. All members jointly discussed the annual work plan of the Special Committee, determined the key research topics in 2023, and formulated the next research plan.
In his concluding speech, Zhang Xianyou stressed that in 2023, giving full play to the role of the Special Committee is an important work of the Provincial Committee for Democratic Progressive Development. We should make efforts in many ways, such as advising and consulting the government, building consensus and providing social services, and earnestly shoulder the responsibility of being a good adviser, colleague and helper of the ruling party. Accurately grasp the essential requirements of Chinese path to modernization, give full play to the advantages of the special liaison committee, perform its functions in a down-to-earth manner, effectively gather intelligence and cohesion, actively carry out various forms of social service activities, and contribute to building a harmonious, beautiful and happy Longjiang. At the same time, we should carry out colorful activities to strengthen the communication between members and enhance the vitality and cohesion of the organization. Give full play to the advantages of the Contact Special Committee that enterprises have many homes and extensive contacts, actively participate in the investment promotion activities of Longjiang, publicize the good policies and environment of Longjiang, and tell the story of Longjiang.
